The production of high quality tactile maps and pictures is a technologically demanding process that has caused numerous difficulties in the past. Main difficulties are high costs, small number of printed copies, complex and time consuming design with a large number of centres for blind without the special knowledge for production. Blind users lack of good tactile graphics aids. With connection of different partners and their knowledge (tactile perception, cartography, geoinformation, etc.), the latest technology solutions (ICT), knowledge about materials and process of automated production including industrial tools it is possible to simplify the process and to reduce the expenses.
This presentation describes the automated process of production of tactile pictures and maps with the latest 3D printing technology, which supports inclusion and give opportunity for individual an approach for blind people.
