Tactile Graphics 2008 - was the fourth international conference on tactile diagrams, maps and pictures for blind and partially sighted children and adults in education, work and daily life.
Touching on every aspect of tactile graphicsHosted by RNIB Centre for Accessible Information (incorporating the former National Centre for Tactile Diagrams), the conference took place in December 2008, with pre-conference workshops on 3 December, and two full days of presentations on 4-5 December. 196 international delegates from 30 different countries attended the event which included pre-conference workshops, 36 presentations and 32 exhibition stands from a range of organisations.
