We are experienced researchers in the field of visual impairment
and technology.
We have several research projects investigating the perceptual
experience of using tactile diagrams, and are keen to collaborate
with others on research into the use of tactile diagrams.
We are particularly interested in:
- how verbal descriptions can improve the effectiveness of
tactile diagrams
- standardisation of the design methods for producing tactile
materials
- the evaluation of new technologies for designing and producing
tactile diagrams.
