Verbal Descriptions of the Tactile and Large Print Diagrams

These give information about how each diagram is laid out, where the important features are and what it generally looks like. These descriptions aid orientation and comprehension, and are provided in print for lecturers, and on CD ready for students to read electronically, to print in any size, or to braille.

21 Further Core Diagrams Conveyed Through Words Alone

21 further common diagrams are conveyed through words alone (view the full list of accessible diagrams). There are many diagrams that are common to the majority of psychology course, however not all are complex enough to warrant the production of a tactile diagram. Therefore we have provided some written descriptions of some common visual diagrams, which will explain what the diagram shows, and will also give some examples of how to describe future diagrams. These descriptions are provided in print for lecturers, and on CD ready for the student to read electronically, to print in any size, or to braille.
