We do everything possible to ensure our conferences are accessible to everyone and provide a range of assistance and support.  Please tell us your requirements on the booking form so that we can arrange support. We may not be able to accommodate any requests received after close of booking (10 November 2008).

Conference materials are available in a range of formats:

  • Email
  • Print 14pt
  • Large print 18pt
  • British Braille Grade 1
  • British Braille Grade 2
  • DAISY text and audio CD

Communication support during the event is available if requested when booking:

  • BSL (British Sign Language) interpreters
  • Speech-to-text reporters
  • Hearing Loop

Other provision:

  • All accepted presenters and exhibitors will be given guidelines on making their information accessible, and those guidelines will also be published on this website
  • Space designated for wheelchair users and guide dogs in the conference sessions
  • Facilities for guide dogs
  • Sighted assistants
  • Jurys Inn staff will have received visual awareness training

We offer sighted assistants as a standard part of the conference, however if you need to bring an accompanying person for any other purpose please indicate on your booking form using the "Other" field for communication or mobility access requirements where appropriate. We may need to make a charge to cover catering costs for your accompanying person and will contact you to confirm the details.
