Visitors to the exhibition will be able to try out an experimental curriculum for teaching statistics to university students who are visually impaired. They will experience drawing while blindfolded, by placing wax-covered string onto a tactile grid that is placed on a touch-sensitive pad (TTT). The purpose of this “eye-opening” experience will be to demonstrate how complex spatial concepts and required skills can be taught to individuals who do not experience the world primarily via visual sense.
Days exhibiting: Friday Only
