The Tiger now embosses using Variable-Height Punching, giving the user vast flexibility combining multi-color graphics with braille for use in tactile documents. Tiger interprets the color spectrum as varying punch depths. The darker a color, the deeper Tiger punches.
We will demonstrate that materials for the Tiger Embosser are created just
as they would be for a Windows® ink printer. Scan, draw or import graphics
with any Windows application and emboss in extraordinary detail on the Tiger.
Documents that contain text can be translated directly from Windows®. The
Tiger embosses braille and graphics together beautifully. We give step-by-step
details on using clip art, creating line graphics, printing charts generated
by Excel, printing from the Accessible Graphing Calculator application, etc.
