This workshop is an opportunity to discuss in more depth the ideas
for a model of tactile graphics comprehension we put forward in a paper entitled
'First steps towards a model of tactile graphicacy' in the May issue of the
B.J.V.I., and which we also outlined in a short paper earlier in the conference
programme. In these papers we raised a number of questions for debate which
we will summarise for discussion in the workshop. We welcome ideas, suggestions
and feedback on our model.
