Based in the UK, providing tactile diagrams, maps and pictures for blind and partially sighted people of all ages and all walks of life.

Tactile diagrams, maps and pictures allow access to visual graphical information for blind and partially sighted people, and can greatly enhance their independence in education, work and leisure.

Vision and Mission Statements

The work of the Centre involves:

  • the design and production of tactile diagrams, maps and pictures (tactile graphics) in a variety of formats with supporting explanatory materials;
  • training for blind and partially sighted people and those working with them;
  • consultancy to businesses and organisations in meeting the needs of blind and partially sighted employees, consumers and customers;
  • evaluation and research in the area of tactile graphics.
